evo Seattle offers mountain bike rentals and demos, including standard mountain bikes and e-mountain bikes. Their posted rental menu lists Mountain Bike rentals at $100 pre-book / $125 walk-in, with helmet and repair kit included. 

evo Portland offers bike demos/rentals in downtown Portland and notes access to mountain bike options. 

Cyclepath PDX also offers rentals in Portland.  They note renters need a driver’s license, credit card, helmet, and a safe way to transport the bike. 

Athletes flying in should reserve early and confirm:

• pedal type
• frame size
• tubeless/spare setup
• helmet inclusion

Optimum Adventures (Washington) offers packraft rentals and states that rentals include a 4-piece paddle, Type III PFD, dry bag, inflation bag, and repair kit. They advertise rates as low as $64/day. 

Alder Creek – Jantzen Beach rents Tributary Tomcat 1- or 2-person self-bailing inflatable whitewater kayaks in Portland. Their page lists:

For Rainier Raid, Seattle-area packraft rental is the cleaner option for athletes arriving from the north, while Alder Creek in Portland is a good option for athletes approaching from Oregon. Reserve early.
