Mandatory gear

Bend Racing mandatory gear

Wetsuit (3/2 shortie) or drysuit recommended

Harness, ATC, leash with two locking carabiner. No figure eights

MicrospIkes (will update closer to race if needed)

Ice axe (will update closer to race if needed)

Packrafts or inflatable kayak allowed.
No hard shells

Goggles/fins will be provided for a swim but if you have them, bring them.

Microspikes and ice axe will be updated closer to race if needed depending on snow levels.

*No tents required

*No bike boxes required

*No camera required

*Space blanket or light bivy okay, don’t need both

Race start is Whittaker’s Mountaineering in Ashford, WA.

Nisqually Lodge. Call for rooms, they are blocked off. Mention “Rainier Raid” for discount.
